Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority

The Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority, known as GATRA, operates and coordinates bus service in the area of Attleboro and Taunton, Massachusetts. GATRA operates fixed-route bus service within 21 communities in Bristol and Plymouth counties, commuter bus service to Providence, Rhode Island and dial-a-ride service.

GATRA currently operates a varied bus fleet consisting of 30-foot and 35-foot diesel Orion VII buses, supplemented by older 30-foot and 35-foot Orion V high-floor buses. The latter are unique in that they sport rear windows, a rarity among Orion V buses, and also feature a rear-mounted wheelchair lift without a conventional back door. GATRA also operates several 29-foot Gillig Advantage buses.
