New Flyer C40LF

After having tested a New Flyer D40LF bus in the mid-1990s, MTA New York City Transit took delivery of the New Flyer C40LF order from 1998 to 2000. This was NYCT's first large-scale CNG bus order, as well as the first large-scale low-floor bus order. They are all based in the Brooklyn Division's Jackie Gleason Bus Depot along with the CNG Orion Vs.

915 features AESYS Verbabus amber LED signs. 911 was refitted with a Luminator Horizon orange LED sign, but it was later replaced with a traditional flipdot sign.
